Age OR False

Naim and Manikanth have a conversation.
· Naim says I am certainly not over 40
· Manikanth says I am 38 and you are at least 5 years older than me
· Now Naim says you are at least 39
All the statements by the two are false. How old are they really?
Answer::
Naim is 41 and Manikanth is 37.
naim is 41 yrs old and manikanth is 37 yrs old
1.naim is not over 40 --
frm this stmt he should be>40
2.Manikanth says I am 38 and you are at least 5 years older than me
frm this statement manikanth is not 39 and
(naim's age-manikanth's age)<4
3.Now Naim says you are at least 39
frm this stmt manikanth's age <39
so from all the above conclusion is
naim is 41 and
manikanth is 37
(i cant beleive u r really tooooooooooooooooo old)
Naim is 42 and Maniknath is of 37 years old.
see manish
now the diff between their ages is 5
i.e., the(2) stmt made by manikanth ll be true but which is actually false..
so ans is 41 n 37
Sirisha ....the 2nd stmt is the diff of their ages is atleat years(means 5 and more years) .....and it is wrong so the diff b/w their ages is atmost 5 years means 5years and less than 5years....so takeing 5years as atmost difference.
This doesnt seem to be the right solution. From 2nd statement
if ( A& B) is false => A' || B'
THe answers can be Naim = 41,42
Mani's age= 37,38.
