A cube is made of a white material, but the exterior is painted black.

If the cube is cut into 125 smaller cubes of exactly the same size, how many of the cubes will have at least 2 of their sides painted black?

    all the cubes along the face edges...add upto 44

    Well yes if u count all cubes along the face edges it will add upto 44, but 8 of them will have three faces with black color, since they will be also at vertices. so the answer should be 36.
