Sunil and Dileep divided a bag of Apples between them.
Dileep said, "It's not fair! You have 3 times as many Apples I have." Sunil said, "OK, I will give you one Apple for each year of your age." Dileep replied, "Still not fair. Now, you have twice as many Apples as I have." "Dear, that's fair enough as I am twice older than you.", said Sunil.
Sunil went to Kitchen to drink water. While Sunil was in Kitchen, Dileep took apples from Sunil's pile equal to Sunil's age.
Who have more apples now?
Answer
At the end, Sunil and Dileep, both have the same number of apples.
Sunil still has more apples then Dilip.
Both Sunil and Dileep have equal number of apples now!!
let the initial apples be 24k...
then sunil has 18k and dileep 6k initially. s gives d apples equal to d's age and then he has twice the apples of d..ie... d has 8k and s has 16k hence dileeps age is 2k and also s is wice older than d....ie, his age is 4k. hence if d takes 4k apples from s, now both have 12k apples each!!
